Booking & Rates
What is check-in and check-out time?
Check-in is at 4:00 PM EST and check-out is at 10:00 AM EST. Your personal keyless entry code will be provided before arrival — no lockbox or key exchange needed.
How many guests can the cabin accommodate?
Peak and Pine Retreat sleeps up to 12 guests across 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Groups larger than 12 require prior approval and incur a $150 per person fee.
Is it cheaper to book direct vs. Airbnb?
Yes! When you book directly through our website, you avoid Airbnb service fees — which can be 10-15% of the booking total. Same property, same experience, better price.
Property & Amenities
Is Peak and Pine Retreat pet-friendly?
We currently do not allow pets to maintain a clean and allergy-free space for all guests. This policy helps us ensure every family has a comfortable stay.
Is the hot tub available year-round?
Yes! Our private 7-person hot tub is heated and available year-round. It’s especially popular during winter ski season — nothing beats a hot soak after a day on the slopes.
What’s in the game room?
The lower-level game room features two Big Buck Hunter Pro arcade cabinets, an air hockey table, Nintendo Switch with controllers, magnetic building tiles for younger kids, board games, and a massive sectional sofa with a big-screen TV for movie nights.
Do you have a Peloton or fitness equipment?
Yes — we have a Peloton bike, yoga mats, and free weights in the lower level. Keep your fitness routine going while on vacation.

How close are you to ski resorts?
We’re perfectly positioned for skiing:
- Cranmore Mountain Resort — 3 miles (~5 min)
- Attitash Mountain Resort — 6 miles (~10 min)
- Black Mountain — 6 miles (~10 min)
- Wildcat Mountain — 15 miles (~20 min)
How far is Story Land?
Story Land is approximately 3 miles away — about a 6-minute drive. We’re one of the closest vacation rentals to the park!
Do I need a 4×4 vehicle in winter?
Our road and driveway are dirt and on a hill, so we highly recommend 4×4 or AWD vehicles in winter. The road and driveway are plowed, but an all-wheel-drive vehicle provides extra safety.
How much parking is available?
The private driveway has space for up to 5 vehicles. Year-round plowing is included.
House Rules
Are parties allowed?
No parties. Quiet hours are after 10 PM. We’re in a peaceful residential area and respect our neighbors.
Is smoking allowed?
No indoor smoking of any kind, including electronic devices. Violations may result in a $1,000 cleaning fee.
Are there security cameras?
There is a Ring doorbell camera on the front door and exterior side cameras, solely for security purposes and to monitor cleaners between guests. There are no interior cameras.
